1949 Mr. Friedrich JAKOBOWITZ founded Jako Ges.m.b.H. Right from the start he was committed to develop high-quality measuring devices primarily thermometer and pressure gauges for industrial applications and for heating-, sanitary- and air-conditioning engineering. Improvements and customization on a continuous basis and the gained Know-How in manufacturing standardized and customized measuring devices enabled Jako Ges.m.b.H to become a major player on its market.
Today JAKO Ges.m.b.H is Austrias' largest producer of these instruments. Currently we export to 40 countries around the globe and we are bullish on a continued expansion on our export-activities.
Management / Production site is located in Vienna, Austria.
Since 1993 we own a Pressure Calibration Device which is connected to the Austrian calibration unit, which enables us to perform necessary calibrations in order to apply for an ISO-certification.
1995 JAKO has been awarded the Austrian Quality System-Certificate (OQS) according to O-Norm ISO 9001 - 2000.
