Pumping units for sewage water
KSB manufactures a large selection of different plastic pumping units for pumping drainage and sewage water.
In general, manufactured pumping units can be divided in two types – pumping units to be installed inside a building and pumping units to be installed outside a building.
Pumping units to be installed inside a building
Smaller pumping units of KSB products for installation inside a building are supplied with the Ama-Drainer-type drainage pump, and they supposed to be installed under the floor in a building basement. Such pumping units are capable of pumping the so-called gray water from saunas, laundries, washing machines, pools, etc.

Larger pumping units for installation inside a building belong to the series
Mini-Compacta and
Compacta.
Such pumping units are capable of pumping wastewater, as they are equipped with one or two wastewater pumps with a dry location, where the impeller can be either single-gear, free-flow or with a crusher.
If a model is selected with a single-gear or a free-flow impeller, the throughput capacity of a smaller model is 80mm therefore risk of clogging is brought to minimum.
Pumping units are fully air-tight and provided with all necessary automation, there is an electrical board in the set of pumping units with two pumps; models (smaller) with a single pump do not need a separate board. To install, it is only necessary to connect pipelines to a pumping unit+air pipe and connect to a power network.
As additional backup, it is possible to install alarm, which controls if, for some reason, one pump does not start or is clogged.

Plastic pumping unit to be installed outside a building
Pumping unit to be installed outside a building are manufactured from polyethylene and provided with one or two wastewater pumps AMAREX DN 50-DN100 as well as with all necessary installation parts and automation.
