 Wastewater pumps Sewatec with a dry location are mainly suitable for wastewater cleaners and for pumping domestic and industrial wastewater. 
Pumps are manufactured with both a vertical and horizontal installation method, and smaller models are manufactured as block pumps.
First of all, horizontal pumps are intended for installation in pumping units, if not to be afraid of flooding.   
Compared to submersible pumps, the advantage of a pump with a dry location is higher operation reliability since in case of leaks of shaft seals, the motor does not burn out and maintenance is a lot of times simpler and cheaper. 
In places where flooding may occur from time to time, a vertical pump can be used, or the motor can be taken to a higher surface level by means of a cardan shaft. 
As materials, gray cast iron, alloys of wear-resistant alloyed cast iron and different acid-resistant steels are used.
 
Three types of impellers are manufactured:
F-impeller, a free flow impeller with a higher transmittance, is appropriate for
the most difficult work conditions where water contains long fibers
or gases.
E-impeller, a closed-type single- gear impeller, is appropriate for pumping preuntreated wastewater, high transmittance, good efficiency.
D-impeller, an open-type mixed-type single-gear impeller, is appropriate for pumping preuntreated wastewater,

high transmittance, good efficiency, usable in case of a high content of
suspended matter in pumped water.
K-impeller, a closed-type impeller with a few channels, is appropriate for big
pumps and hydraulic efficiency reaches maximum 88%. The impeller
is milled at an exactly required work point.

KWPd

Pumps KWP with a dry location are suitable for pumping corrosive or particularly sewage water that occurs in industry as well as for pumping pulp in paper industry.
As materials, alloys of alloyed cast iron and steel, ERN, Noridur, Norihard, etc. patented by KSB are used.

Wastewater submersible pumps

KRTd
Amarex KRT pumps are used as submersible pumps in all places where wastewater has to be pumped, for municipal wastewater and industrial wastewater in wastewater pumping stations. 
The major advantage of using submersible pumps compared to pumps with a dry location is a lower cost of a pumping station construction, as a rule, construction of a pumping station for pumps with a wet location is always cheaper. 
Reliability of operation, convenience in use and larger maintenance-repair expenses later shall be considered as minus. 
As materials, gray cast iron, alloys of super wear-resistant cast iron, different acid-resistant steels
and special alloys patented by KSB are used.

The S-impeller - the impeller with a crusher, which enables to use wastewater pipelines thinner than traditional, without danger of clogging.

Submersible wastewater pumps with a dry location

KRTB
KRTB is used in places where it is most likely that a pump with a dry location can remain from time to time under water due to emergencies or flooding. The pump is capable of continuing its operation 
further in a submerged state as well.

As materials, gray cast iron, alloys of super wear-resistant cast iron, different acid-resistant steels
and special alloys patented by KSB are used.

Submersible wastewater pumps installed in the pipe

AmacanK
This is a pump with a closed-type nonclog impeller (the so-called K-impeller) to pump wastewater. 

Compared with an ordinary wastewater pump installed on the support, the Amacan-type pump advantages are the following: as required, it can be installed in a significantly narrower well and the pump weight is considerably smaller.

This is a pump with an axial-type propeller (the so-called propeller pump). The pump is capable of transferring large flows at small heads. They are mainly used as wastewater pumps, as the so-called polder pumps at drainage and in wastewater treatment plants for pumping denitrification water or return sludge, in addition, see recirculating pumps.

Drainage pumps

AmaDrainer

Drainage pumps, or discharge pumps, are used for discharging basements, pools, reservoirs, for pumping groundwater and the so-called gray water. Unlike wastewater pumps, their maximum pumped particles size is only 10-35mm, thus they are not suitable for pumping wastewater. Their advantage is stainless construction, which is light and makes the pump easily transportable. 

Alternatives with a cooling housing and without a cooling housing are manufactured. Pumps with a cooling housing are capable of pumping in a semisubmerged state as well.
